DONATE YOUR FLORALS
There are two ways you can donate flowers:
1) Drop them off at our humble office location (look for the pallet board and black metal cabinet with our sign on the side of the building):
2941 Lake Tahoe Blvd
South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150
Let us know by emailing PetalKindness@gmail.com so we can schedule a Kindness Coordinator to meet you.
2) Schedule a pick-up by using the “SCHEDULE A FLORAL RESCUE” form. —>
With this option, we kindly request a tax-deductible donation to compensate our Kindness Runners for their late-night or early-morning pickup time commitment and gas, as well as our overhead expenses related to our office space, website, and registration filings. This ensures our organization is fiscally sustainable.
Upon booking, you will automatically receive a tax-deductible receipt for your financial donation and be added to our Flower Rescue calendar.
Thank you for spreading kindness while also diverting green-compostable waste from the landfill.
If you are seeking to deduct the value of the florals donated, we recommend that you consult your tax advisor or accountant. Petal Kindness, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is unable to determine or assign a monetary value to in-kind donations such as florals. Your tax professional can guide you on how to proceed with potential deductions for the donated florals.
“The average American wedding emits 57,152 kilograms of CO2. You would need to plant 2,722 trees to offset this.”
DONATING A FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION TO SUSTAIN THE ORGANIZATION
While our florals are donated, the expenses are not.
Our website, payment processor, scheduling app, marketing management, volunteer management, venue space, kindness runners, kindness coordinators, and business licenses have significant costs.
We rely on financial donations to support our mission.

We need:

Glassware
Buckets
