Ways You Can Help:

We are always looking for considerate individuals to spread kindness through rescued flowers. There are three ways you can help:

  1. Kindness Runner -Rescue flowers after events conclude

  2. Floral Arranger & Distributor - create new arrangements from rescued flowers and deliver them to community organizations we serve

  3. Floral Ambassador -Tag Us and share with your friends and family our organization!

Floral Rescuer 🌸

Rescue flowers from weddings and events so they can be arranged and distributed to community based organizations. Responsibilities:

  • Complete a training covering flower handling and transport, event pickup procedures, professional conduct at venues, safety and communication guidelines

  • Remove flowers from arrangements at event venues at designated day and time (typically takes about 45 minutes)

  • Deliver flowers to the Petal Kindness office or community based organization

A stipend may be available (as noted in the opportunity slot) to help cover gas and transportation costs.

Floral Arranger & Distributor 🌺

Arrange new floral creations with donated flowers. No Experience Necessary - just come play with flowers. After arrangements are made, spread kindness by distributing flowers to community organizations we serve.

This is a volunteer opportunity with the perk of taking home one bouquet for yourself. All Volunteers must complete a training to review expectations.

NOTE: Our vase, scissors, twine, and gloves inventory are based on donations and are not guaranteed. If you have vases, containers, or scissors please bring them with you for the assembly.
