Ways To Help:

We are looking for considerate individuals to spread kindness through rescued flowers. by being a Kindness Runner and/or a Kindness Arranger & Distributor:

Kindness Runner🌸

Rescue flowers from weddings and events so they can be repurposed and delivered to hospitals, senior centers, shelters, and other organizations in our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete a short training covering flower handling and transport, event pickup procedures, professional conduct at venues, safety and communication guidelines

  • Remove flowers from arrangements at event venues at the end of the event (typically takes about 45 minutes)

  • Deliver flowers to the Petal Kindness office or community based organization

Stipend:

To help cover gas, time, and transportation costs, a stipend may be available for each successful pick up.

Kindness Arranger & Distributor 🌺

Arrange new floral creations with donated flowers. No Experience Necessary - just come play with flowers. Once your arrangements are made, spread kindness by distributing the flowers to the community organizations we serve.

This is a volunteer opportunity with the perk of taking home a beautiful bouquet for yourself.

NOTE: Our vase and scissors inventory (located in the black cabinet) are based on donations and are not guaranteed. If you have vases, containers, or scissors please bring them with you for the assembly.
