🌸 Petal Kindness $1,000 Scholarship

Petal Kindness offers an enthusiastic and dependable individual a unique opportunity to serve as a Kindness Coordinator & Runner. This role is ideal for driving age students or community members who embody compassion, reliability, and professionalism and are excited about spreading joy through flowers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the organization’s floral donations & floral recipients via our email inquiries and using the SignUp system to request sign up for opportunities. Leverage volunteers and shift management as needed.

• Document, track, and schedule incoming donations, respond timely and with a positive customer-oriented mindset.

• Safely drive to pick up donated flowers from designated venues at the end of events when Kindness Runner slots are not filled. (often between 9:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.) and dress in professional black attire (black shirt, black pants, and closed-toe shoes) to align with hospitality standards.

• Handle flowers with extreme care, understanding their delicate and perishable nature

• Follow Petal Kindness protocols for floral pickup and drop-off at our storage site

• Maintain clear communication with event contacts and the Petal Kindness team

• Must be great at scheduling and logistics to coordinate floral runners, volunteer shifts, and community donation requests.

Scholarship Package:

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Eligible to drive legally after 10:00 p.m.

• Have a vehicle that has a large trunk space.

• Ability to lift 30 lbs and handle large floral containers

• Professional, courteous, and punctual

• Passion for kindness, sustainability, and community impact
