We are always looking for volunteers to help spread kindness through rescued flowers. Volunteers can help in several ways:

  • Rescue flowers after events conclude.

  • Create new floral arrangements from rescued flowers.

  • Deliver flower arrangements to hospitals, senior centers, and other community organizations we serve.

Kindness Runner

Become a Kindness Runner 🌸

Kindness Runners help rescue flowers from weddings and events so they can be repurposed and delivered to hospitals, senior centers, shelters, and other organizations in our community.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Picking up donated flowers after events

  • Transporting flowers to the Petal Kindness workspace

  • Occasionally delivering bouquets to community partners.

Kindness Runner Stipend

To help cover gas and transportation costs, Kindness Runners receive a stipend for each successful pick up after completing training and their first pickup assignment.

Kindness Runner Training

All Kindness Runners must complete a short training guide before participating in a flower pickup.

The training covers:

  • Flower handling and transport

  • Event pickup procedures

  • Professional conduct at venues

  • Safety and communication guidelines
